What Tessera does
Everything on this page is implemented in the plugin, and the keys listed are the ones the parsers read. Anything not listed here does not exist yet.

Items
Items are parsed from every YAML file in items/. One file can define any number of items. The top-level key is the id.
Any Bukkit material. Defaults to STONE when absent.
MiniMessage string used as the item name.
List of MiniMessage lines.
Applied when greater than zero.
Sets the unbreakable flag.
Applied when greater than zero.
Built stacks carry the id in their PersistentDataContainer.

Blocks
A custom block is a vanilla block plus an id recorded in the chunk PersistentDataContainer, so it survives restarts and chunk unloads.
Base material, NOTE_BLOCK by default.
Break time factor, 1.0 by default.
Gate on the tool used to break the block.
place, break, step and hit sound names.
Entries of item, min, max and chance. Defaults to the block itself.
Break the block without dropping anything.
Piston moves are cancelled. Explosions run the drop table.

Furniture
Placing a tagged item spawns a display entity plus an Interaction entity that carries the hitbox. Both entities keep the furniture id in their PDC.
ITEM_DISPLAY or BLOCK_DISPLAY.
Interaction width and height.
Transform applied to the display entity.
Spawns a temporary armour stand to sit on.
Snap placement to four directions.
What the furniture returns when broken.
04 systems
Recipes
Recipes are registered with the server on load and unregistered on reload. Custom items are referenced as tessera:<id> and matched exactly.
shape rows plus a character to ingredient map.
A flat list of ingredients.
source or ingredient, experience, cooking_time.
A plain id, or a section with item and amount.
Optional node checked before crafting.
05 systems
Glyphs and HUD
Glyphs become bitmap font providers in the generated pack. HUD elements are MiniMessage templates rendered to the actionbar.
Private use character, allocated automatically when omitted.
Font provider fields.
:id: and <glyph:id> are both replaced before parsing.
player, health, max_health, food, level, ping, world, x, y, z.
/tessera hud, stored per player in the player PDC.

06 systems
Resource pack
The pack is generated on every boot and reload, then hashed and served. You never zip it yourself.
Font providers, pack.mcmeta, pack.png and the default glyph textures.
Embedded HTTP server, port 8085 by default, with a SHA-1 hash.
Joining players are prompted after a configurable delay.
Anti-unzip levels 1 to 3 applied to the archive headers.
Optional movement lock and blindness while the pack loads.
Zips dropped into imports/ are merged and re-served.
07 tools
Commands and GUIs
One command, /tessera, with an alias of /t. Everything is reachable from chat or from the menus.
menu, browse, search and an interactive recipe viewer.
get, give, giveall and drop, for items, blocks and furniture.
inspect, nbt, cmd, durability, block info, furniture list.
killfurniture, cleartemp, stats, debug, export, reload.
generate, apply, push and import.
